PRESENT AND FUTER ISSUES OF SPORT AND RECREATION TOURISM FROM ARAD COUNTY, REFLECTED BY THE LOCAL SOURCES

ASPECTE ACTUALE ȘI DE PERSPECTIVĂ ALE TURISMULUI SPORTIV ȘI DE RECREERE DIN JUDEÈšUL ARAD, OGLINDITE ÂN SURSE LOCALE

Abstract

The study is addressed to specialists in sports and the tourism, arguing for how sports tourism and recreation tourism can be developed in the area of Arad. The study concludes that natural tourism potential of Arad, superior in terms of fauna, flora and landscape, its location, sports and recreation structures, are opportunities that intersect with preferences and expectations of tourists visiting the city and the county of Arad. The interest of the local community, as it results from the sources cited in this paper (social documents), can be channeled for development of this type tourism objectives, with important consequences on the socio-economic fields of the county of Arad. The sports tourism and recreation tourism, may help to restore the working capacity of the population of a country, region or county, through its forms of active leisure. Its made new relations between productive activity carried out in a company by employees and their leisure time, between sports and recreation activities and its use for knowledge and the productive purposes of a national, regional, county or local territory.

Rezumat

Studiul se adresează specialiștilor din domeniului sportului, dar și celor din turism, aducând argumente în favoarea modului în care turismul sportiv și de recreere poate fi dezvoltat în zona Aradului. Concluzia studiului este că potențialul turistic natural al județului Arad, condițiile superioare în materie de faună, floră și peisaj, amplasarea acestuia, bazele sportive și de agrement, constituie oportunități ce se intersectează cu preferințele și așteptările turiștilor care vizitează municipiul și județul Arad. Interesul comunității locale, așa cum acesta rezultă din sursele citate în prezenta lucrare (documente sociale), poate fi canalizat spre obiective de dezvoltare a turismului sportiv și de recreere, cu consecințe importante privind dezvoltarea socio-economică a județului Arad: refacerea capacității de muncă a populației țării, regiunii sau județului, prin formele sale de odihnă activă, sport și educație fizică.
